Appalachian Natural Gas Supply & Demand Economics (latest August 2016)

APPALACHIAN NATURAL GAS SUPPLY & DEMAND ECONOMICS

More rigs operating in PA and Ohio offset by loss in WV. January futures still looking fair to good with spread just shy of 50 cents. Robust summer demand has decreased storage overhang somewhat. Should be an uptick in rigs through the autumn. New LNG from Sabine Pass coming on. New nat gas utilization projects (methanol plants) announced. Shell's ethane cracker moves forward. Utopia NGL Pipeline moves forward. Winter demand forecast significant.
